President Tinubu visits Plateau state, meets mother in viral video holding de@d son

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Thursday, April 2, visited Plateau State to sympathize with residents following the recent deadly attack in Jos. The incident, which happened on Sunday, March 29, in the Angwan Rukuba area, reportedly claimed the lives of more than 40 people.

During the visit, the President strongly condemned the attack and expressed sadness over the loss of lives. He assured the people that the government would work towards preventing such tragedies from happening again.

One of the most emotional moments of the visit was when he met Rhoda, the mother seen in a viral video holding the body of her son, Ayuba, who was killed during the attack. The heartbreaking video had drawn widespread attention online.

Speaking to her, the President acknowledged her pain and said only God can truly comfort her. He added that no amount of money can replace her loss but promised that the government would support affected families in every possible way.

He also prayed for strength and healing for the victims’ families and the entire community, while reassuring them of the government’s commitment to restoring peace and security in the state.
