The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) in Osun State has extended the service year of 12 corps members over various infractions.
This was disclosed by the State Coordinator, Ekang Ita Kubiangha, during the passing-out ceremony held in Osogbo.
He revealed that a total of 1,808 corps members successfully completed their service and were issued certificates.
According to him, 13 corps members absconded during the service year, while others faced sanctions in line with NYSC rules.
Kubiangha advised the outgoing corps members to remain disciplined and uphold the values learned during service.
He also encouraged them to contribute positively to society as they move into the next phase of their lives.
