The President of the Berom Youth Moulders Association, Solomon Dalyop Mwantiri, has accused security agencies of ignoring early warnings before recent attacks in Plateau State.
He made the claim during a visit to affected communities in Jos North after a deadly incident.
Mwantiri said there were clear signs of impending violence, including public threats and intelligence reports.
According to him, his group had alerted authorities weeks earlier about movements of suspected armed groups.
He questioned why such warnings were not acted upon, suggesting possible lapses within security structures.
The BYM leader has now called for a full investigation into the actions of security agencies in the state.
