The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency in Edo State has recorded major success in its fight against drug crimes.

The agency revealed it seized illicit drugs worth about N1.8 billion within three months.

During the same period, operatives arrested 104 suspected drug traffickers across the state.

Authorities also confirmed that large quantities of cannabis and other harmful substances were recovered.

Several suspects have already been convicted, while rehabilitation efforts were extended to affected individuals.

The command said the operations are part of ongoing efforts to reduce drug abuse and crime in society.
