U.S. President Donald Trump has told the United Kingdom and other countries to “go get your own oil” from Iran amid rising tensions in the Middle East. 

Trump’s comments came as fighting continues around the Strait of Hormuz, a key route for global oil shipments. 

He criticised allies for not helping the U.S. in its conflict with Iran and said America “won’t help you anymore” if they refuse to act. 

The statement was shared on his social media and highlighted disagreements with the UK over military support. 

Iran has been attacking tankers and missiles have been fired near major Gulf shipping lanes, worsening the energy supply issue. 

The remarks have added strain to diplomatic relations and raised questions about future cooperation on energy and security.
