The Nigerian government has secured approval for ambassador-designates from 10 countries, boosting its diplomatic relations.
The countries include the United Kingdom, United States of America, France, Qatar, and Ireland.
Others are Senegal, Benin Republic, Sierra Leone, Ethiopia, and Djibouti.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said more approvals are still being awaited from other countries.
Spokesperson Kimibie Ebienfa said the induction ceremony will be announced once finalized by the Presidency.
This development follows reports and clarifications involving former minister Femi Fani-Kayode, who dismissed related claims as false.
