The United States and Israel have carried out coordinated air strikes on multiple targets inside Iran, hitting an airport and petrochemical facilities in a major escalation of the conflict.
Military aircraft struck the Kerman airport area, damaging fuel storage tanks and parts of the airfield, according to reports of the attacks.
In the south, the allied forces also bombed petrochemical plants and gas infrastructure around the South Pars field near Asaluyeh, a key part of Iran’s energy sector.
The strikes form part of a broader campaign targeting Iranian military and industrial capacity, including oil and weapons facilities in and around Tehran.
Iranian authorities have condemned the attacks and warned of possible retaliation, as tensions continue to rise in the region.
The conflict shows no sign of easing, with both sides maintaining military pressure while global concern grows over the impact on regional stability.
