Ibrahim Khalid Mustapha, who represents Kaduna North Senatorial District, has officially resigned from the Peoples Democratic Party, citing internal crisis within the party.
In his resignation letter, he explained that ongoing leadership disputes and court cases have made it difficult to continue his involvement in the party.
Mustapha noted that the disagreements have weakened the unity and direction of the party at different levels.
He expressed gratitude to party members for their support and encouragement throughout his political journey.
According to reports, his exit may be linked to plans to join the African Democratic Congress.
His resignation adds to the growing wave of political changes and realignments within Nigeria’s political landscape.
