Bola Ahmed Tinubu has assured Nigerians that electricity supply will improve in the near future.
He gave this assurance while addressing members at the All Progressives Congress national convention in Abuja.
According to the president, his administration is already working on reforms to tackle persistent power challenges.
He revealed plans to inject about 1,500 megawatts into a new grid corridor through ongoing projects.
Tinubu also stated that the government is moving the country from survival mode to a phase of stability and growth.
He expressed confidence that improved power supply will support industrial development and create more opportunities.
