The All Progressives Congress youth group in Bayelsa State is calling for a full review of a pipeline protection contract.
Their demand follows the resignation of Joshua MacIver from the party, who was linked to the contract through Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited.
The youths are asking for a forensic investigation into how the contract was awarded and managed.
They also raised concerns about oil theft, illegal bunkering, and weak security in the region.
According to them, the contract should be replaced with a more transparent and accountable system.
The group urged the government to ensure that public resources are properly managed in the interest of national security.
