Super Eagles XI vs Iran: Okoye, Lookman, Adams get starting roles

Head coach Éric Chelle has announced the starting lineup for the Super Eagles ahead of their friendly match against Iran.

Goalkeeper Maduka Okoye returns to the starting role, marking an important comeback to the national team.

In defence, Bright Osayi-Samuel, Semi Ajayi, Igoh Ogbuh and Bruno Onyemaechi have been selected to provide stability at the back.

The midfield will be anchored by captain Wilfred Ndidi alongside Alex Iwobi, both expected to control the tempo of the game.

Upfront, Akor Adams leads the attack, supported by Ademola Lookman, Samuel Chukwueze and Moses Simon.

The international friendly is scheduled to kick off at 2pm Nigerian time, giving fans a chance to see the team’s new setup in action.
