The Federal Ministry of Health and Social Welfare has inducted a new group of National Health Fellows to support reforms in the country’s health sector.
The programme was announced during a recent event in Abuja where a second batch of fellows was welcomed after completing training.
Health Minister Muhammad Ali Pate urged the young fellows to take their role seriously and contribute to meaningful change.
He said the initiative is not just for learning but a platform to apply innovation and leadership to improve healthcare delivery.
According to Muntaqa Umar Sadiq, the fellows are key to turning policies into real results across the country.
The programme is part of the government’s effort to strengthen the health system, improve outcomes, and build a stronger future for Nigerians.
