Senator Ali Ndume has warned that Nigeria risks losing parts of Borno State and the North East to terrorists if urgent steps are not taken.

He expressed concern over the increasing activities of insurgents, noting that some communities are gradually falling under their control.

According to him, the situation has worsened despite ongoing military operations in the region.

Ndume called on the Federal Government to strengthen security strategies and provide better support for troops on the ground.

He also urged improved intelligence gathering and collaboration with local communities to tackle the threat effectively.

The lawmaker stressed that without decisive action, the security crisis could escalate and endanger more lives and territories.
