AfCFTA: Nigeria can achieve 90 percent non-oil exports trade – Rabiu

Business leader Abdul Samad Rabiu has said Nigeria can achieve up to 90 percent non-oil exports under the African Continental Free Trade Area.

He explained that the agreement presents a major opportunity for the country to reduce its reliance on crude oil revenue.

According to Rabiu, Nigeria has the capacity to grow its manufacturing and agricultural sectors to meet export demands.

He urged the government to create enabling policies that support local industries and boost production.

Rabiu also stressed the importance of infrastructure development to improve trade across African markets.

He concluded that with proper planning and investment, Nigeria can unlock its full export potential within the AfCFTA framework.
