War: We’ll start hitting Gulf power plants, mine waters – Iran issues fresh threat

Iran has issued a fresh warning, threatening to target power plants across the Gulf region if its own infrastructure comes under attack.

The warning follows rising tensions with the United States after President Donald Trump gave an ultimatum over the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz.

Iranian officials said any aggression would trigger retaliation against energy facilities and strategic assets linked to US allies in the region.

Tehran also warned it could deploy sea mines, potentially shutting down key shipping routes and disrupting global oil supply.

Experts say such actions could severely impact Gulf countries that depend heavily on power and water infrastructure, raising fears of humanitarian and economic crises.

The situation remains highly volatile, with both sides signaling further escalation, increasing concerns about global energy markets and regional stability.
