Nollywood comic actor Baba Ijesha, real name Olanrewaju Omiyinka, has revealed that actress Iyabo Ojo once entrusted her children, Priscilla and Festus, in his care.

The actor spoke in his first interview since prison, denying ever being a pedophile and insisting the social media video circulating was set up by comedian Damilola Adekoya, also known as Princess.

Baba Ijesha, who was sentenced in 2022 and released in November 2025, said Princess betrayed everyone close to her, claiming he never asked her out or kissed her.

He expressed disappointment over Iyabo Ojo’s stance, noting that while she entrusted him with her children, she publicly supported Princess during the court case that led to his imprisonment.

Despite feeling hurt, Baba Ijesha maintained respect for Iyabo Ojo, describing her as “my product” and refusing to speak badly about her.

The revelations come amid ongoing debates in Nollywood and on social media regarding the Baba Ijesha case and the credibility of accusations against celebrities.
