Katsina: Radda urges unity, assures justice for victims of insecurity

Katsina State Governor, Dikko Umaru Radda, has called on Muslims to uphold unity, compassion, and generosity beyond Ramadan, while assuring families of victims that justice and peace efforts continue.

Speaking after Eid-el-Fitr prayers at Batagarawa Mosque, Radda described the festival as a time for reflection, urging residents to practice kindness, patience, and fairness daily to strengthen social harmony.

He commended citizens for their resilience and cooperation and praised security agencies and communities for maintaining peace despite ongoing challenges.

Acknowledging that some families are mourning recent attacks, the governor expressed deep sympathy and assured that measures are being taken to end such incidents.

Radda expressed optimism that enhanced security would allow future celebrations to be peaceful and safe, emphasizing his administration’s commitment to restoring stability.

He also called on citizens to support government initiatives and remain united in promoting peace, security, and development across Katsina State.
