Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has dismissed claims that Israel pushed the United States into the ongoing conflict with Iran.
Speaking during a briefing, Netanyahu described the relationship between both countries as strong and historic.
He stressed that US President Donald Trump makes his own decisions based on what he believes is best for America.
The Israeli leader also rejected reports suggesting that Israel influenced Washington’s involvement in the war.
According to him, cooperation between both nations is based on shared interests, not pressure or control.
The conflict, now entering another week, continues to impact global markets, especially with rising oil prices.
