‘This war will hit everyone no matter race, religion’ – Iran warns

Iran’s Foreign Minister, Abbas Araghchi, has warned that the ongoing war will have global consequences affecting everyone, regardless of race, religion, or wealth. He made the statement on Wednesday while urging Western officials to resist escalation.

Araghchi highlighted that the wave of consequences from the conflict has only just begun, emphasizing that no country or individual is immune to its effects. His warning comes amid rising international concerns about the war’s impact.

He shared a copy of the resignation letter of Joe Kent, the US National Counterterrorism Center director, who quit on Tuesday. Kent stated he could not “in good conscience” support the war against Iran, citing that the country posed no immediate threat.

The Iranian minister noted that more officials from Europe and the United States are speaking out against the conflict, calling it unjust and warning of long-term global consequences.

Araghchi urged other members of the international community to take similar actions, advocating for increased diplomatic pressure to prevent further escalation.

The post and resignation underscore growing global unease over the conflict and highlight calls for accountability and restraint in addressing tensions with Iran.
