Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has criticized Israel’s ongoing military operations, saying they are not only about national security. He argued that the attacks across the Middle East reflect deeper political and ideological motives.

Speaking on Tuesday, Erdogan said actions in Gaza, Lebanon, Iran, and Yemen suggest a broader agenda. He claimed that ideas such as “promised lands” are being used to justify continued military actions.

He also raised concerns about the closure of Al-Aqsa Mosque, describing the situation as unjustified. Erdogan’s comments come as tensions continue to rise across multiple regions affected by the conflict.

Turkey’s Foreign Minister, Hakan Fidan, accused Israel of carrying out political assassinations in Iran and worsening the humanitarian situation in Lebanon. These claims have added to growing international concerns over the crisis.

According to the World Health Organization, the conflict has caused significant casualties and displacement. In Lebanon alone, hundreds of thousands have been displaced, while in Iran, millions have been affected by the ongoing violence.

The WHO warned that healthcare systems are under serious strain, with facilities closing and medical workers caught in the violence. The agency called for urgent funding and an immediate reduction in hostilities to prevent a deeper humanitarian crisis.
