Authorities in Indonesia have arrested two French nationals and one Italian over alleged involvement in producing and sharing prohibited video content. The arrests took place on the popular tourist island of Bali, where strict laws regulate such activities.
Police in Badung district confirmed that the suspects—two men and one woman—are under investigation for attempting to profit from the materials online. According to officials, the case came to light after a video linked to the group circulated widely on social media.
Authorities revealed that two of the suspects were arrested while trying to leave Bali for Thailand, while the third individual was later apprehended. Law enforcement agencies are continuing investigations to determine the full extent of their activities.
If found guilty, the suspects could face severe penalties under Indonesian law, including lengthy prison sentences. The case highlights the country’s strict stance on content regulations despite Bali’s reputation as a global tourist destination.
