The All Progressives Congress (APC) has confirmed that the zoning arrangement for National Working Committee (NWC) positions will remain in effect ahead of its 2026 National Convention. The party said this is aimed at guiding aspirants and maintaining internal stability.

APC’s National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, stated that the published 2026 Schedule of Nationwide Congresses and Related Activities will govern the convention, ensuring that zoning rules are strictly applied.

Aspirants seeking national offices have been advised to follow the zoning framework when submitting their Expression of Interest and Nomination Forms. The party emphasized strict compliance to avoid disputes.

The APC noted that maintaining the zoning system will promote fairness, balance, and orderliness during the internal election process, helping the party remain united ahead of the convention.
