Ondo High Court Judge, Adeleye is dead

A judge of the Ondo State High Court, Justice Bamidele Adeleye, has passed away. His death was announced on Friday in Akure by the Chief Registrar of the court, Ayodeji Akinsanya, who described the news as a painful loss to the judiciary.

According to the statement, the late jurist served as the presiding judge of High Court 5 in Akure. The judiciary said Justice Adeleye was known for his dedication to justice, fairness and his commitment to upholding the rule of law during his years on the bench.

Colleagues and members of the legal community also remembered him as a humble and respected figure. The statement noted that his wisdom, integrity and professionalism earned him admiration among judges, lawyers and members of the public.

Born on January 16, 1961, Justice Adeleye was sworn in as a judge of the Ondo State High Court on September 8, 2011. Before joining the bench, he founded the law firm Fola Adeyeye & Co. in Okitipupa, leaving behind a legacy of service to the legal profession.
