Former Paul Parker has recommended that Manchester United offload Harry Maguire and Mason Mount during the upcoming summer transfer window. Parker believes Maguire’s time at Old Trafford has ended and keeping him could block the growth of younger defenders like Yoro, De Ligt, and Martinez.

He added that Mason Mount should also be sold if a good offer comes in, noting that the midfielder has struggled for consistent game time since joining United. Parker stressed that Mount’s limited appearances could hinder the squad’s overall balance.

Maguire originally joined Manchester United from Leicester City in 2019, while Mount moved from Chelsea in 2023. Parker believes that selling both players could free up opportunities for emerging talents and improve team dynamics.

The former Red Devils defender emphasized that United should prioritize the development of young players while capitalizing on transfer opportunities to strengthen the squad for next season.
