NNPC Cuts Petrol Price By N100 In Lagos, N95 In Abuja

The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPC) has lowered petrol prices at its retail outlets to N1,130 per litre in Lagos and N1,165 per litre in Abuja. This reflects a N100 drop in Lagos and N95 in Abuja from previous rates.

Several NNPC stations in Lagos, including Isheri Oshun Road, Apple Junction, and Ago Palace Way, now sell petrol at the revised price. In Abuja, outlets in Jabi, Lifecamp, Wuse Zone 5, and Wuse Zone 4 have adjusted prices accordingly.

The reduction follows Dangote Refinery’s recent cut in ex-gantry petrol price to N1,075 per litre, responding to easing global crude oil prices. Brent crude fell sharply from $119 per barrel to about $87 per barrel.

Diesel prices also dropped at the gantry, now selling at N1,430 per litre, down from N1,620. The combined adjustments aim to ease fuel costs for motorists amid fluctuating global oil markets.
