United States President Donald Trump has claimed that America has already won the ongoing conflict involving Iran. Speaking during an event in Kentucky, Trump said the U.S. achieved victory quickly but still needs to complete its mission.

According to him, the war was practically decided within the first hour of fighting. However, he stressed that the United States cannot leave the situation unfinished and must “finish the job” before stepping away from the conflict.

The current tensions began after the United States and Israel carried out military strikes on Iran earlier this year. The attacks reportedly resulted in the death of Iran’s Supreme Leader and escalated the confrontation between the countries.

Since then, Iran has responded by launching drones and missiles targeting U.S. interests in nearby countries and Israel. Reports also indicate that several American soldiers have died and others were injured as the conflict continues to unfold.
