U.S.-Israeli vs Iran war: NATO deploys Patriot system to Turkey

NATO has deployed a Patriot missile defense system to Malatya Province as tensions rise during the ongoing conflict involving the United States, Israel and Iran. Turkish authorities said the move is aimed at strengthening the country’s air and missile defense system.

According to the Turkish Ministry of National Defense, NATO increased its security support to help protect member states from possible threats linked to the conflict. The Patriot system will help monitor and defend Turkish airspace from missile attacks.

Turkey has also taken additional steps by deploying fighter jets and air defense systems to the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus. These measures are part of broader preparations to secure the region amid growing military tension.

Reports indicate that NATO forces have already intercepted two Iranian missiles that were heading toward Turkey since the conflict began earlier in February. The alliance said it remains committed to protecting all member countries against external threats.
