Kun Khalifat FC technical adviser, Obinna Uzoho, praised veteran goalkeeper Chijioke Ejiogu for his crucial role in the club’s 1-0 win over Bayelsa United.

Ejiogu, 41, returned to the NPFL after a three-year absence, helping his team secure a clean sheet at the Dan Anyiam Stadium on Sunday.

Uzoho highlighted the goalkeeper’s experience and leadership as vital for the club’s fight to remain in the league. “He gave a very good account of himself in the win,” Uzoho said.

The coach believes Ejiogu’s presence will boost the team’s confidence and guide younger players as Kun Khalifat FC push for survival this season.
