Akor Adams has expressed happiness after ending his six-match goal drought for Sevilla FC. The striker scored in the team’s 1–1 draw against Rayo Vallecano in a La Liga match.

The Nigerian international said he was pleased to score again but admitted he expected to have more goals this season. According to him, helping the team gain points remains the most important thing.

So far, Adams has recorded seven goals and three assists in 22 league appearances for Sevilla this campaign. The 25-year-old also thanked God for the progress he has made despite the recent scoring drought.

Sevilla will now focus on their next challenge, an away match against FC Barcelona this weekend as they continue their LaLiga campaign.
