The Dangote Petroleum Refinery has raised the price of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) to N1,175 per litre, up from N995, marking the third increase in a single week. Diesel prices were also adjusted to N1,620 per litre.
The N180 jump in PMS within three days represents an 18.1% increase, reflecting rising costs in the domestic fuel market. Marketers were informed of the gantry price adjustment on Monday.
Earlier in the week, the refinery had increased PMS from N874 to N995 per litre, pushing retail pump prices above N1,000 nationwide and affecting consumers across Nigeria.
This price adjustment by Dangote Petroleum signals ongoing pressure in local fuel pricing, highlighting challenges in the supply chain and cost of refining domestic crude oil.
