Cristiano Ronaldo to leave Saudi Arabia atter an injury amid ongoing conflict in the Middle East

Football legend Cristiano Ronaldo is set to leave Saudi Arabia after suffering a hamstring injury while playing for Al-Nassr. The injury occurred shortly after the club’s 3–1 victory against Al-Fayha during a recent league match.

Initially, speculation arose about Ronaldo’s location after his private jet reportedly left the country overnight. However, the player was later seen with his teammates, confirming he was still in Saudi Arabia before plans for medical travel were announced.

According to Al-Nassr manager Jorge Jesus, medical tests revealed that the injury was more serious than first expected. As a result, Ronaldo will travel to Madrid to receive specialised treatment from his personal therapist.

The decision comes at a tense time in the region, with rising security concerns in parts of the Middle East. Despite the situation, the club hopes the star forward will recover quickly and return to help the team later in the season.
