The White House has said the United States is close to gaining full control of the airspace over Iran as military operations continue. Officials stated that American forces expect to achieve total aerial dominance within hours as the conflict enters its fifth day.

Speaking on March 4, White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt said the U.S. military was making rapid progress in the operation. According to her, American forces are preparing to establish complete control of the skies over Iran very soon.

U.S. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth also said that the United States and Israel are working together to secure dominance in Iranian airspace. He explained that the goal is to ensure that allied aircraft can operate without opposition.

Hegseth added that once the airspace is secured, military forces will continue targeting Iran’s missile systems and defence facilities. The joint operations by the U.S. and Israel are part of growing tensions in the region as both countries aim to weaken Iran’s military capabilities.
