Taraba APC congresses boost party’s 2027 prospects — ALGON chairman

The Chairman of the Association of Local Governments of Nigeria in Taraba State, Moses Maihankali, has expressed confidence in the readiness of the All Progressives Congress for the 2027 general elections. He said the successful completion of the party’s internal congresses in the state has strengthened its structure and unity.

Speaking during an interactive session with journalists in Jalingo, Maihankali explained that the party conducted its ward, local government and state congresses without major problems. According to him, the smooth process has positioned the party well for future political activities.

He also expressed optimism that the party would perform strongly in the 2027 elections. Maihankali said the continued support of residents for the administration of Agbu Kefas has created a strong political base for the party across the state.

The ALGON chairman urged party members to remain united and committed to the party’s goals. He also praised Governor Kefas and other stakeholders for ensuring that the congresses were conducted peacefully and in an orderly manner.
