Israeli Air Force Announces Completion of 12th Airstrike Wave in Tehran

The Israeli Air Force (IAF) said on March 5 that it had carried out its 12th wave of airstrikes on Tehran, targeting a range of Iranian internal security and military facilities.

According to statements posted by the IAF on X, the strikes included the headquarters of Iran’s special internal security unit in Alborz province, Basij militia bases, and several internal security command centers.

The IAF said the special internal security unit in Alborz—located just west of the capital—oversees Iran’s internal security forces nationwide.

Additional targets across Tehran included sites linked to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), the Basij volunteer militia, and a central headquarters for Iran’s armed internal security forces.

The Israeli military also reported striking dozens of other headquarters and facilities allegedly used by Iranian authorities to store and manufacture weaponry, according to a series of posts on the platform.
