President Bola Tinubu and First Lady Oluremi Tinubu praised Pastor Enoch Adeboye, General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, as “one of Nigeria’s greatest gifts” on his 84th birthday. They hailed him as a spiritual fortress interceding for the nation.
The presidential couple highlighted Adeboye’s humility, wisdom, and contributions to philanthropy, education, healthcare, and economic empowerment, noting his impact transcends the pulpit. They joined church members worldwide in thanking God for his exceptional life.
They commended his unceasing prayers for Nigeria, patriotic zeal, and transformative leadership over five decades, which continues to influence generations across the country and beyond.
Born in 1942, Adeboye has led the RCCG since 1981, growing it into a global Pentecostal denomination with parishes in over 190 countries, while founding Redeemer’s University and supporting numerous social initiatives.
