Iran has warned the United States and Israel of strong retaliation following recent military strikes. The warning came after Washington and Tel Aviv confirmed attacks they described as targeting security threats linked to Tehran.

US President Donald Trump said the operation was aimed at removing what he called an imminent danger. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu also acknowledged the action, saying it was necessary for national security.

In response, Iran reportedly launched strikes at several US military bases across the Gulf region. Tensions have since risen sharply, raising fears of wider instability in the Middle East.

Iran’s Foreign Minister, Seyed Abbas Araghchi, described the attacks as illegal and unprovoked. He accused Washington of prioritising Israeli interests and vowed that Iran’s armed forces would respond firmly to what he called aggression.
