Trump also warned Iranian military forces to surrender their weapons, offering protection, or face death if they resisted. The message emphasized the consequences of non-compliance with US directives.
Earlier this year, Trump threatened military action against Iran in response to the government’s crackdown on protesters, which a human rights group reports has caused 6,480 deaths.
