Adaora Soludo, daughter of Charles Soludo, has been appointed the Anambra State Women Leader of the City Boy Movement. The group is known as a support platform for Bola Tinubu.
The appointment was confirmed by the state media director of the movement and by the governor’s aide, Daniel Ezeigwe. Adaora is expected to coordinate and mobilise women across the state under the group’s structure.
Her emergence comes shortly after a delegation of the South-East arm of the movement, led by businessman Obi Cubana, paid a visit to the governor in Awka. The visit had sparked political conversations in the state.
Founded in 2022, the City Boy Movement says it promotes civic engagement and national unity. The group also dismissed claims of elitism, stating that its membership cuts across different social and professional backgrounds.
