The Nigerian Ports Authority has announced that 21 vessels are currently discharging fuel and food supplies at major Lagos ports. In its latest shipping bulletin, the agency confirmed that operations are ongoing at Apapa Port, Tin Can Island Port and Lekki Deep Sea Port.
The ships are delivering aviation fuel, petrol, diesel, bulk gas and trucks. Other cargoes include wheat, sugar, fresh fish, soya bean oil, clinker and container goods. The update reflects steady commercial activity at the nation’s busiest ports.
The authority also revealed that 41 additional vessels are expected between February 28 and March 7. These incoming ships will carry petroleum products, fertiliser, crude oil, salt and more food items.
Meanwhile, 17 vessels have already arrived and are waiting for berthing clearance. They are loaded with items such as urea, ethanol, diesel and general cargo, indicating continuous movement of essential goods into the country.
