FMN, France deepen trade ties at 2026 PIAS

Flour Mills of Nigeria (FMN) has strengthened trade ties with France at the 62nd Paris International Agricultural Show (PIAS) 2026. The company partnered with the French government to promote Nigerian-made products and expand global market access. The event, which runs from February 21 to March 1, attracts hundreds of thousands of visitors yearly.

As a member of the France-Nigeria Business Council, FMN returned as a sponsor after its successful outing in 2024. This year’s theme, “Generations Solution,” focuses on knowledge transfer and innovation in global agriculture. FMN said the partnership highlights the strong economic relationship between Nigeria and France.

Speaking at the Nigerian Pavilion, FMN Agro MD Sadiq Usman said the company remains committed to feeding and enriching lives through innovation. He noted that the pavilion offers a platform for technical exchange and global collaboration. Other Nigerian firms, including Dangote, BUA, Zenith and Access, also participated.

With over six decades of operations, FMN said it will continue to promote food self-sufficiency and market diversification. The company believes stronger partnerships with France will drive intercontinental trade growth. Stakeholders see the 2026 PIAS as another step toward deeper Nigeria-France agribusiness cooperation.
