NDLEA Nabs Lekki Big Boy Kolapo Oladapo For Running Drug Distribution Network

The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency has arrested Lagos socialite and businessman Kolapo Oladapo over an alleged drug distribution operation. Officials said he was picked up at his Ikate residence shortly after returning from the United Kingdom, following months of surveillance. Authorities claim he had been on their watchlist since last year.

During a search of the property, operatives reportedly found nearly 90kg of a strong cannabis variant hidden in bags, alongside a vehicle believed to be linked to his activities. Investigators said Oladapo, who presented himself as CEO of Trans Fortress Global, admitted during questioning that he expanded into trafficking after profiting from earlier deals with an overseas partner.

In a separate operation, NDLEA officers intercepted Rabi Muhammad at the Seme border while she allegedly tried to enter Benin Republic carrying thousands of tramadol capsules concealed in a fake pregnancy setup. The agency said the discovery followed routine inspection procedures.

Another suspect, Michael Gohouri, was arrested at Kano International Airport while attempting to board an Ethiopian Airlines flight to Milan. Officials alleged scans revealed concealed narcotics in his body. The agency says the coordinated arrests show its resolve to dismantle trafficking networks nationwide.
