The Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) has expressed concern over the arrest of former presidential aide, Festus Obono-Obla. The association described the arrest as alarming and emphasized the need for adherence to due process in handling the matter.
NBA President Olumide Akpata stated that the association will closely monitor developments and intervene to ensure Obono-Obla’s legal rights are protected. He stressed that the rule of law must be upheld at all times.
