El-Rufai denies Kaduna govt’s role in Dadiyata’s disappearance

Former Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai, has denied that the state government had any involvement in the disappearance of Dadiyata. Speaking to journalists, he emphasized that the allegations suggesting Kaduna authorities played a role are baseless and untrue.

El-Rufai noted that the government has always respected the rule of law and due process. He assured the public that the state had no reason to interfere in personal or criminal matters outside its jurisdiction, dismissing claims that the disappearance was politically motivated.

The former governor reiterated that investigations into the incident are ongoing, and any individual responsible will be held accountable under the law. He also appealed to the media and citizens to avoid spreading unverified reports that could inflame tensions.

El-Rufai concluded by calling for patience and cooperation with security agencies, stressing that transparency and justice must guide all actions regarding the Dadiyata case.
