DSS on his trail – Pete Edochie’s family seeks arrest of Tiktoker over death news

The family of veteran actor Pete Edochie has asked the Department of State Services to arrest a TikTok user who falsely claimed that the actor had died. The claim went viral online but was quickly debunked by the actor’s family and management.

Edochie’s first son, Leo Edochie, posted a video on Instagram calling the death rumours “a lie from the pit of hell.” He emphasized that the family had taken the matter seriously and involved the DSS to track down the person responsible.

In a separate Facebook post, Leo shared a photo of the Tiktoker, whose handle is @ONE_BOR001, and asked the public to provide any information that could help authorities arrest him. He also announced a cash reward for anyone whose information leads to the suspect’s capture.

Leo urged people to send direct messages with tips, assuring that those who assist will receive the promised reward once the TikToker is arrested. The family’s move highlights growing concern over the spread of fake news and its potential impact on public figures.
