The United States Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has announced plans to deport 18 additional Nigerian nationals identified on its “worst-of-the-worst” criminal offenders list.
The announcement follows closely on the heels of a similar action taken last week, when 79 Nigerians convicted of various crimes were slated for deportation.
In a statement released on Monday, February 9, 2026, DHS disclosed that the individuals were convicted of serious offences, including wire fraud, child solicitation, mail fraud, and identity theft.“
The U.S. Department of Homeland Security is highlighting the worst-of-the-worst criminal aliens arrested by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE),” the department stated.
The statement further noted that, under the leadership of Under Secretary Noem, DHS and ICE are implementing President Donald Trump’s immigration enforcement agenda, beginning with individuals deemed to pose the greatest public safety risk.
Among those named on the latest list is convicted fraudster Obinwanne Okeke, also known as Invictus Obi.
Others include Oluwaseyanu Akinola Afolabi, Olugbeminiyi Aderibigbe, Benjamin Ifebajo, Kolawole Aminu, Oluwadamilola Olufunsho Ojo, and Franklin Ibeabuchi.
Additional individuals listed are Alex Afolabi Ogunshakin, Joshua Ineh, Stephen Oseghale, Eghosa Obaretin, Adesina Surajudeen Lasisi, Ibrahim Ijaoba, Azeez Yinusa, Charles Akabuogu, Kelechi Umeh, Lotenna Chisom Umeadi, Donald Ehie, and Chukwudi Kingsley Kalu.
