Nigerian young striker Uchenna Ogundu has completed a permanent transfer to German Bundesliga club FC Augsburg from Turkish Super Lig side Alanyaspor. The 19-year-old forward makes the move after an impressive spell in Turkey, marking another big step in his fast-rising career.

Augsburg confirmed that Ogundu has signed a long-term contract that will keep him at the club until June 30, 2031. The Bundesliga outfit clearly sees the teenager as a player for the future and part of their long-term plans as they continue to invest in young talent.

Ogundu’s rise has been swift and eye-catching. He only joined Alanyaspor last summer from Sanliurfaspor but quickly made his mark, scoring five goals and providing two assists in 20 appearances across all competitions.
