Dr. Simon Nuhu Yashim, an aspirant for the All Progressives Congress (APC) chairmanship in Kaduna State, has called on residents to continue supporting Governor Uba Sani’s administration. He said sustained public support is important for the government to deliver quality leadership and long-term development across the state.
Yashim made the appeal while speaking to journalists at the launch of a book highlighting Governor Uba Sani’s two years in office. The event, organised by the 14-14 group, took place in Kaduna. According to him, the governor’s administration has made visible progress in key areas such as security, infrastructure, and human capital development since assuming office.
He also promised that if elected as APC state chairman, he would strengthen the party’s structure to protect and promote the governor’s achievements. Yashim said this would be done through strong grassroots mobilisation and clear communication of government policies and programmes to the people of Kaduna State.
Also speaking at the event, the lawmaker representing Zaria City Constituency, Barrister Mahmud Lawal Ismail, described the book launch as timely. He said the people of Kaduna are already seeing improvements in infrastructure and social development. He added that the publication would serve as a useful guide for government actions in sectors such as health, education, agriculture, security, and social investment.
