Transfer: Agada moves to Spanish club Real Zaragoza

Nigerian striker William Agada has joined Spanish Segunda División side Real Zaragoza on a free transfer, signing a contract that runs until June 2026. The 26-year-old becomes the third Nigerian to represent the club, following Ikechukwu Uche and James Igbekeme.

Agada previously played in Major League Soccer (MLS) for Real Salt Lake, where he scored two goals in 14 league appearances. Before moving to the United States, he spent much of his career playing in Turkey.

The forward began his professional journey with Mighty Jets in Nigeria, showcasing his talent before moving abroad to pursue opportunities in more competitive leagues. His arrival at Zaragoza adds depth to the club’s attacking options as they compete in Spain’s second division.

Real Zaragoza expressed excitement about Agada’s signing, highlighting his experience in international leagues and his potential to make an immediate impact for Los Maños in the ongoing season.
