The Kano State chapter of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) has expressed disappointment over the exit of Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf from the party. Eldoguwa, the factional chairman of NNPP in Kano, described the Governor as highly proactive and instrumental in the state’s development.
Speaking on Friday, Eldoguwa said the Governor’s departure leaves a void in leadership for the party in Kano. He noted that Governor Yusuf’s hands-on approach and commitment to implementing policies positively impacted governance, which the party and residents will sorely miss.
The NNPP factional leader further emphasized that the Governor had played a key role in driving socio-economic projects and initiatives across the state. His leadership, according to Eldoguwa, inspired both party members and government officials to achieve more for the benefit of Kano people.
Eldoguwa called on party members to remain united despite the setback and continue working towards strengthening NNPP in the state. He expressed hope that the party would recover from this loss while honoring the legacy of the Governor’s proactive leadership.
