The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has arrested three suspected drug dealers and seized 115 bags of cannabis in Ogun State. The arrest followed an intelligence-led operation carried out by NDLEA officers who stormed a location believed to be a storage point for illegal drugs.
According to the agency, the suspects were taken into custody while attempting to move the cannabis from the area. The 115 bags were recovered at the scene and later moved to NDLEA custody for documentation and further investigation.
NDLEA officials said the operation is part of their renewed efforts to reduce drug trafficking and abuse across the country. They warned that anyone involved in the production, storage, or sale of illegal drugs will be tracked down and prosecuted according to the law.
The agency also urged residents to support the fight against drugs by sharing useful information with security agencies. NDLEA said community cooperation remains key to breaking drug networks and protecting young people from the dangers of substance abuse.
